🚨BREAKING NEWS!

“Dear Fans,

“As we prepare to kick off the 2024/25 Premier League season tomorrow, I want to extend a warm welcome back to Old Trafford. This is an especially meaningful moment for me as it marks my debut as Chief Executive of this extraordinary club.

“Your support at Wembley was nothing short of remarkable. Although we fell just short in the Community Shield, there were plenty of positives to take from the match.

“When the opportunity to join Manchester United arose late last year, I didn’t hesitate for a second. My earliest memories of this club are filled with stories my father told me about legends like Sir Bobby Charlton and George Best.

“The history of this club is immense and awe-inspiring. From the heartbreak of Munich to the triumph at Wembley a decade later, I am deeply honored to be part of a club where resilience and glory are woven into our very fabric.

“That rich history speaks volumes. From the moment I first stepped through the doors last month, I was struck by the sheer magnitude of Manchester United and what it represents to our fans, both here in Manchester and across the globe. Understanding the true scale of this club is something that grows on you day by day, and I’m quickly catching up. It’s an easy place to fall in love with.

“This summer has been a period of significant transformation, both on and off the pitch. We’re thrilled to welcome Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, and Noussair Mazraoui to the club—four exceptional talents with bright futures ahead. We’re also pleased that Bruno Fernandes has committed his future to United, and Erik ten Hag has extended his contract following our FA Cup success. Additionally, Dan Ashworth has joined us as Sporting Director and Jason Wilcox as Technical Director. We’re building a robust and talented football structure to work alongside Erik, with a clear focus on long-term success. On the non-football side, we are assembling a world-class leadership team to ensure the club thrives in all areas.

“It is a tremendous honor to be taking my place among you all. I’ve been eagerly anticipating this moment for months, and there’s no better way to start than under the iconic Old Trafford floodlights, surrounded by the incredible atmosphere this stadium is known for.

“During our pre-season tour in the US, I enjoyed connecting with many of our American fans, as well as those who traveled to see us. I was particularly impressed by our new front-of-shirt partner, Snapdragon, when we visited them in San Diego. Their cutting-edge technology will undoubtedly help us perform at our best.

“We are also making significant strides in upgrading Carrington to ensure that both our men’s and women’s teams have access to top-tier training facilities. In addition, we’ve established a joint task force to explore the future regeneration of the Old Trafford area, with a world-class stadium at its core. This is the right time to advance these projects, and both our owners and the management team are fully committed to them.

“This is a pivotal moment for the club. Everything we do is aimed at improving our performance on the pitch, which remains our top priority. In times of change, it’s vital that our connection with you, our supporters, remains stronger than ever. You are central to everything we do, and that will always be a key focus for us.

“I look forward to meeting many of you at Old Trafford and throughout the season. This is your club, and I assure you that I will always treat it with the care, dedication, and respect it deserves.”
