Prophet Nicholas Osei, wwidely known as Kumchacha, the founder of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, has advised Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and his running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, to prepare for the 2028 elections. According to Kumchacha, the current economic challenges make it unlikely for the NPP to secure victory in the 2024 elections.

In an interview with TV3, Kumchacha expressed his belief that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has already secured the win. He referenced Daniel 2:21, stating, “God changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. Everything happening is part of God’s plan.”

He acknowledged the NPP government’s efforts, saying, “I am not saying the NPP hasn’t made progress; they have. But economic hardships will weigh heavily on voters’ minds. In 2024, seven out of ten people will likely say things are not going well, and that will influence their votes.”

Kumchacha further mentioned former President Kufuor’s advice to voters to consider their living conditions and financial situation when casting their ballots. “I admire Bawumia for his humility, but he should prepare for 2028 because 2024 will be challenging. As a prophet and a Ghanaian, I’m declaring that the NPP will not win in 2024.”

He emphasized that nothing can change what God has revealed to him, concluding, “Dr. Bawumia and Napo should get ready for 2028. God has shown me this vision.”
